Do I need a special drivers license to drive a rental car in another country?
Many countries allow travelers to operate a rental vehicle with a valid drivers license from their country of origin. Check the requirements of the country you're traveling to before you leave. Travelers who frequently travel overseas should consider applying for an International Driver's License. It is also best to check with the rental company directly to see if they require an International Driver's License.

I forgot my username and/or password. What should I do?
Go to 'Manage Your Account' and click on 'Forgot Your Password? Click Here' after entering your email address. Re-enter your email address in the pop-up window and click 'Go.' You will receive you username and password via email shortly thereafter.

Do I need to register in order to reserve a car on CarWiz?
At OneTravel.com, travelers are welcome to come in, shop and compare prices. Passwords are not needed to check prices or availability. Once you decide to make a reservation, it is necessary for you to register your information. Your profile is kept on file to make it easier for you to make car rental reservations with us in the future without having to re-enter your information. All of your personal information is guarded with a password and used only to complete reservations. It is not used for any other marketing or sales purposes. Please make a note of your password. It will make CarWiz reservations much faster for you in the future. If you forget your password, visit the 'Manage Your Account' section for assistance in retrieving it.

I have reserved a car with CarWiz, but now need a different type of car. How do I change my reservation?
The best way make a change while ensuring a car is reserved for you is to make an entirely NEW reservation. Simply make a new reservation with the type of vehicle you now need. Once the new reservation is secured, cancel your original reservation.

How do I cancel a car rental reservation?
Go to the "Manage Your Account" section and log in. Click on the reservation you wish to cancel and click "Cancel My Reservation."

Where can I find more information about the rate offered by the car rental company?
Rental rates and pricing information are just a click away. When you see a rental price that looks appealing, click on the 'Book It' icon. All prices are linked to the offer details for the particular rate. Please read this section VERY carefully. Many times a car rental may cross over to a different rate period, which will affect the total charge of your car rental.

How can I make a reservation to pick up a car at one airport and return it to another?
Currently, we are unable to book one-way rentals online. Our online booking system relies on information provided by third-party reservation systems that do not accurately quote one-way rentals in all situations. Furthermore, not all car companies offer one-way rentals in all markets and not all car types are available for one-way rentals.

Do car rental rates include taxes and insurance?
No. Car rental rates listed on our site do NOT include taxes or insurance. All taxes and fees are listed in the company policy section. OneTravel.com TIP: You may want to double check with your credit card company and/or your current car insurance provider before leaving home to see if they will cover some or all of the rental car insurance fees.

Will I be guaranteed a specific car model with my reservation?
Car rental companies provide a model as an example of the type of car typically used for each class. Specific models are NOT guaranteed with reservations. Please be aware that car rental companies do NOT provide a way to reserve a specific type of model online. OneTravel.com TIP: When you arrive at the rental car agency, ask specific questions such as "What model compacts do you currently have available?" Many times agents will do their best to accommodate your request. You may also want to ask if an upgrade is possible. If available, you might receive a more comfortable vehicle. Often times, good things come to those who ask!

I am planning a trip out of the country. Do car rental companies operate differently in other countries?
For the most accurate information regarding any car rental, either in the U.S. or abroad, read the car rental company's policy.
If you have any questions before collecting your car:
Follow the contact information on the reservation pages once you have booked you car.
If you have a breakdown:
Call the number on your rental agreement for breakdown service or call the rental location from which you rented your car.
If you have an accident:
Call the police. Then call your rental company at the location from which you rented your car.
